Privacy Policy

1.Who this covers

This policy explains how Prompt LLC (“we,” “us”) handles personal information in STAI (the “Service”), including the iOS app and website. Prompt LLC is responsible for that information. Questions go to info@staihome.com. It works alongside our Terms of Service.

2.What we collect

Information you give us

• Account: your name, email address, and password. We store only a secure hash of your password, never the password itself.
• Your property: the address or listing link you enter, its approximate map coordinates, and its size (bedrooms, bathrooms, guests).
• Your activity: the reports you run, homes you track, neighbors you save, and alert preferences.
• Purchases: when you buy home credits, Apple sends us the purchase details we need to add them: the product, a transaction ID, the date, and the price. We never see your card or other payment details.
• Messages: anything you send us, such as support emails.

Information collected automatically

• An app installation ID: a random identifier the app creates, used to count reports before you sign in and to move them to your account when you do. It isn’t your device’s advertising identifier.
• Technical records: IP address, device and app version, and the time of requests, kept in server logs for security and troubleshooting.
• Email records: when we sent you a verification or password-reset code and whether it was delivered.

We don’t collect your device’s location, contacts, photos, or advertising identifier. As you type an address, the app uses Apple Maps to suggest matches, so that text is sent to Apple under Apple’s privacy policy.

3.Information about other rentals

To build comparisons, we get data about short-term rental listings from third-party data providers and public sources: listing titles, locations, prices, availability, ratings, review counts, and amenities. This describes listings as they’re publicly offered, not their guests. If you’re a host and have a question about how your listing appears, contact us.

4.How we use information

• to run the Service: build reports, track your homes, and remember your preferences;
• to sign you in and send the emails you ask for, such as verification codes, password resets, and alerts;
• to add the home credits you buy and unlock the homes you spend them on;
• to keep the Service secure: prevent abuse, enforce plan limits, and investigate problems;
• to understand usage and costs and to improve the Service;
• to comply with law and enforce our Terms.

We don’t sell personal information, share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, show ads, or track you across other companies’ apps and websites.

5.Who we share it with

Only service providers who help us run the Service, under contracts that limit their use of it:

• Railway, which hosts our servers and database in the United States;
• Resend, which delivers our emails;
• Apple, for address suggestions (Apple Maps), app distribution, and in-app purchases;
• rental market data providers, which receive the area being analyzed and, when you give one, your listing link (not your email or name);
• property records providers, which receive the address you enter so we can fill in your home’s size (not your email or name).

We may also disclose information when required by law or legal process, to protect the rights and safety of users or others, or as part of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets. In a sale, this policy would continue to apply to information transferred.

6.How long we keep it

• Account and property information: while your account exists. When you delete your account, we delete your account, tracked homes, and saved preferences.
• Reports, home credits, and purchase records: deleted with your account. Apple keeps its own records of your purchases. Cost records: kept for our accounting with no link to you.
• Server logs and email delivery records: up to 12 months.

7.Your choices and rights

• Delete your account at any time in the app: Profile → Delete account.
• Ask us for a copy of your information, or to correct or delete it, by emailing info@staihome.com. We’ll respond within 45 days and may need to confirm it’s you.
• Depending on where you live (for example California, other U.S. states, the UK, or the EU), you may have additional rights, such as to object to or restrict certain processing. Contact us to exercise them; we won’t treat you differently for doing so.

8.Security

We protect information with encryption in transit, access controls, and hashed passwords and codes. Your session token is stored in your device’s Keychain. No system is perfectly secure; if a breach affects you, we’ll notify you as the law requires.

9.Age

The Service is for adults 18 and older and isn’t directed to children. We don’t knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has given us information, contact us and we’ll delete it.

10.Where information is processed

We’re based in the United States and store information there. If you use the Service from elsewhere, your information will be processed in the United States.

11.Changes to this policy

If we make a material change, we’ll tell you in the app or by email before it takes effect. The version and effective date are at the top of this page.
